Good Lovelies

8pm (Doors 7.30)

The Good Lovelies can be best described as a folk, roots, old-time, western swing trio, and are one of Canada’s premier folk bands, with high-profile awards including a Juno and multiple Canadian Folk Music Awards on the shelf.  They have now also ventured beyond the boundaries of old-time traditions with their latest album, Burn The Plan.

With impeccable vocals and charisma, they are funny, upbeat and play with a pinch of sass. Throughout their shows, they constantly swap instruments, alternating between acoustic and electric guitars, bass, mandolin, banjo and percussion. Each girl takes it in turns to sing lead vocals and their harmonies are just divine. The aptly named Good Lovelies are Caroline Brooks, Kerri Ough and Sue Passmore.

Tickets: £12
