Cale Tyson Plus Independent Country

8pm (Doors 7.30pm)

Straight out of Texas, Cale Tyson is bringing his outlaw country to a new generation of country music fans. At just 25, he's breaking all boundaries and bringing his traditional sound with a modern twist to a whole new world of country music. His sweet yet melancholy lyrics feel like they were probably written in a whiskey-stained bar napkin, just the way good country songs should be. "Old school country for a new generation of excited country fans." (Rolling Stone)

"A traditionalist for the future." (The Guardian)

Independent Country are a  6-piece band. Their debut album features brand new, country arrangements of classic Indie and Britpop tunes from the likes of Happy Mondays, Blur, Oasis, New Order, Teenage Fanclub and others. The Jesus and Mary Chain‘s Jim Reid recently described the Independent Country version of his ‘Blues From A Gun‘ as ‘the best thing I have EVER heard’.

(PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A MAINLY STANDING SHOW AT THE HARE & HOUNDS)
