Stories and songs to welcome the stranger - How do we treat people who have escaped from torn lands and what is our response to these places of violence? Exploring these issues through music, story and song featuring guest artist’s musician Layla Tutt and yarn spinner apocalyptic musician David Benjamin Blower - yarn spinner, writer and apocalyptic folk musician telling the astonishing tale of Jonah and Ninevah, modern day Mosul, as well as refugee tellers, the Cafe Storytellers hope to create a sense of Sanctuary at Birmingham Storytelling Café on May 17.
