Bonfire Radicals

8pm (Doors 7.30pm)

The Bonfire Radicals have been marvellously described as “a Medieval plough-girls’ lunch of Chaucerian troubadours meets Captain Beefheart; strings, myriad recorders and clarinet raga-beats to a ‘Balkan Divorce Dance’ breakdown, (…) a delightful conundrum ‘n bass pizzicato jiggery-poguery.” (John Kennedy).

They’re an 8-piece from Birmingham intelligently weaving together Klezmer and eastern European inspired woodwind, Scottish born and bred fiddles, hard hitting guitar and bass.

Tickets £8 (£5 Conc.)
